Myths And Legends - Poem by Derek James

The mysterious myths and
legends,
a true fact or a fake fact,
No one really knows for
sure.

All these stories passed
down from generation to
generation,
Makes a person wonder why?
Sometimes wondering how it
all came to be.

A myth and a legend always
lingers,
Never to lose those who
are continuously curious.

Is it the need to explore
something mysterious,
To fulfill our imaginations
with fantasy bliss.

Many people enjoy a good
story of a myth and a legend,
Even if it is a spooky story
or a beautiful story.

Myths and legends will always
live forever,
In the hearts of millions of
people all around the world.

If you choose to believe it
or choose not to believe it,
Choice is up to you, my dear
friend.

At least in the end you can
always say,
That was such an interesting
book about myths and legends.

I guess that is why it is
a myth and a legend,
To keep you wanting to
come back and read more
and more.
