Naked Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Naked

Naked!
You know?
Naked!
You see?
All out for eyes and ears, to be
Naked, Naked!
That is the “me” that you must see.
Naked!
Naked!
Blood in vein, liver, kidneys
And air on cells carried away to serve the nerves
Naked I am.
And who are you?
And what are you?
A bourgeois or a miner,
May be a king or a soldier
Tell me who-what or whose you are.
Whom do you want, me to murder, a genocide?
Can you be nice, burn all the books, make a fire?
I am tired and sure am lost in rights and wrongs.
I am tired
Tired to learn
Tired to know
Leave me alone in cave and dark
I am tired of all these lies
Philosophy, technology and history, scientific, mathematic
Mostly are lies. Give me a rag to put it on and be fakir, hermit and monk
Make me a cage
Maze of Charlie
In it a rat that I can race
I am tired
Of your moral and the wisdom that you advise
Catch me by tail then lift me up, sure be aware
I will, like cat, try to fight, don’t let me down since I will fall on all my fours
Take me away too deep to sea
Where ocean is dark and a bed for the sky
In salt water, waves rushing high, chain of mountains, open the bag and let me out for no return
I am tired
I am tired
Of books to read and things to learn, hell to brain with such knowledge, let me remain, the dumb I am.
