Namib Desert

I am in the middle of Namib Desert,
And I'm thirsty,
Besides a walk to a far distance,
I won't survive,

I've been ignorant to walk into this hellhole,
External delivery seems remote,
Except through my own effort,

I still have some stamina,
God be with me I shall survive,
Let me try to come out now, for
Further procrastination spells disaster,
Alas! A donkey came passed by,
I ignored it,
A mule,
I knew it won't bother, for
It is the master of the desert,
A horse came,
I welcomed its generosity,

Alas! I reached the oasis on horseback,
I shared the sweet, cool water, with my saviour,
Namib Desert, I detest you!
