Nancy Mcgee Poem by Jan E Smith

Nancy Mcgee

With a smile that could light a room
and a spirit soft and free
She took Roland as her groom
For it was meant to be.

They lived as one in peace not strife
This woman and her spouse
She touched so many with her life
And kept a tidy house

She was her husband’s hero
His friend until the end
Flying straighter than an arrow
With a love that wouldn’t bend

Now she’s gone to be with God
My dear aunt Nancy McGee
Without her here it seems so odd
and the answer hard to see.
