God,
As I close my eyes
I see you
As a hearth of blazing fire
A radiance inflamed
Resplendent in Your own luminosity
The coroneted orb of crimson-gold
At the nucleus of all creations
Weaving a matrix of sparks
With Your brilliant oriole.
Your warmth generating life
Into the womb of Nature.
Your centrifugal force
Holding us all to Your fraternity
We revolve and rotate like planets
In our own respective orbits
That You have sketched around us
Sometimes meteors and asteroids
Impede our paths
But we know
We are all safely cushioned
In the haven of our primal nativity.
