Natural Tempo - Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

This is no power struggle,
no strong force of nature.
It is the gentle sun
stripping her bare.

A calm, pale blue
sky, reflecting light
among naked foot daisies
is no cha cha or rhumba,
but summer smooching
slowly with its love.
