Nature At Play Poem by Paul Warren

Nature At Play

And it scatters on the wind
To give pause to start again
For the seed will take hold
Growing and flourishing as new green gold

The warmth of the sun shines down
As the tree grows and spreads around
It has a strength that commands respect
In unending growth no end as yet

The leaves once green turn golden brown
As they float and swirl to ground
The rain once gentle flows through
Taking the leaves down too

Winter wears its crown
As the rain beats down
For each day as a cold Wind blows
Waiting for the warm of summer shows

Each cycle renews the world in turn
As nature commands us to learn
For there are good times and bad
And life renews itself so glad.
