Nature's Bloom Poem by John Grady Jones

Nature's Bloom

As first Dawn's gaze

carresses the darkness

from delicately clinched petals,

I Loosen my folds

and open myself to the

glory of her nurturing light.

Revealing my soft heart,

I entice her to drink

from the nectar of my soul,

To shine on me

in this moment that we share.

For far too soon

Darkness comes again,

Leaving only the longing for

First Dawn's gaze.
