Nature's Heart Poem by Matt Reyes

Nature's Heart

The wind blows silently through your hair,
I would rather have you more than air.
You walk by and flower's bloom,
The sight of you makes my heart go boom.

The birds to your hair they bring a flower,
You are really sweet and never sour.
The animals are quiet and lick your hand,
You are queen within this land.

Next to you dried rivers do flow,
And around you the fireflies do glow.
Wherever you walk rain pours like a fountain,
And snow falls down from the mountain.

The clouds always blot out the sun,
Being with you and the rain would be fun.
Where you walk the birds sing,
And you can hear the bells ring.

But the falling flowers do constantly cry,
When you aren't closely by.
And even though it's tragically torn apart,
I still offer you my humble Heart.
