Nature's Secrets Poem by Francis Duggan

Nature's Secrets

Rating: 5.0

Last Spring the birds that nested in yonder wood if still alive will nest there too next Spring
And in decades from now their descendants will nest there for Nature is such an eternal thing
The reaper will never claim Mother Nature and she will live on in Earth forever more
When one Land is in the cold grip of Winter you will find that Spring is on another shore.

Yes Mother Nature she will live forever though people to the Planet come and go
And she is one who guards her many secrets and of her best kept secrets we will never know
The only God I know is a green Goddess and she looks stunning in her cloak of green
And in Spring and Summer she is at her fairest and greater beauty I have never seen.

Mother Nature she has been around for centuries before humans lived in a cave
And she is even far more timeless than the timeless ocean
wave
That rolls in her Wild Kingdom out on the stormy sea
She changes her colours with the Seasons and none as long lived as she.

And though human beings have made giant steps in the World of technology
What's in the soul of Nature humans will never see
For Nature's most precious secrets are not for us to know
And Mother Nature lives forever and people come and go.
