Natures Gift Poem by STEVE HOFFMAN

Natures Gift

There’s a light In the sky
So round and so clear
Off in the distance
Silhouette of a deer

That great round light
It fades without warning
The clouds are moving in
It’s still early morning

First it gets dim
Then it fades all away
The lightning strikes
Its mother natures day

As the clouds get thick
They produce a great show
The bangs and the flashes
And the power of the winds blow

The trees start to bend
Branches and leaves become clear
Falling to the ground
From the simple winds sheer

Then here it comes
Like a distant train
The third part of this show
That sweet steady rain

The rhythm, and the lights
And these rains make things grow
With all our knowledge, and power
We cant touch this show
