You must think I'm so naïve,
That you crushed my sole,
When you told me you would leave,
You packed your bags,
And slammed your door,
I've never been so broken,
Or hurt before,
In my past I've been hurt,
That's true,
I wish I'd never,
Put my trust in you,
The one person,
I would never believe,
Could hurt me this way,
But I'm struggling through,
This thing called life every day,
My sole has been crushed,
In the palm of your hand,
And ripped up like paper,
We're all of our plans.
