Navigate My Heart Poem by Rachel Henley

Navigate My Heart

you are the pulse, that races through my blood and bones.
You have made me human and vulnerable, where i once was stone.
once i thought i was destined to be alone,
and upon finding you, i have found my home.

they cast eyes that do not know or comprehend,
that our love is just a beginning, without an end.
judgements that have been declared with an ignorant mind,
look inside me for regret, and regret is something you shall not find.

my heart is the sail, and the wind of words, set me on course for you.
out of every list of impossible human acts, theres none i wouldn't do.
wherever i may roam, through the thunder and the hail.
you are my horizon, for you i will always set sail.

i do not search for treasure, for i have already found,
the greatest riches of them all, and it wasn't found in the ground.
the treasure was buried deep, deep into your soul.
and within your eyes, i saw the glimpse of gold.

navigate my heart where you please, my ship is yours to command,
i have no dreams to accomplish and no ideas for a get away plan.
but my love, let your feet put imprints on the sandy shore.
and you shall see my ship, and i will glance at my treasure once more.

the words are melodramatic...as if a giant ship of love has taken its course of Southampton again to find something unrequited.Superb write..
