Needing You Poem by Maya Hanson

Needing You

I throw my head on my hands
and it tastes like
needing you.

Chasing our tails,
living in circles,
stretching out elation on a string
simultaneously
owning the sun and the sky

An endless supply of
heaven and green,
each day starts with you.

But I've never suffered
quite like this
and right now it feels a lot like
needing you.
