We are called 'neighbours',
As we live next to or near another,
Still we are very far from one another,
It is strange and disgusting for all of us.
Enmity, selfishness and jealousy reign in every sphere of today's society,
We breathe in with great anxiety and difficulty;
The word 'neighbour'is just a word now,
We have forgotten its importance and relevance altogether.
Very often noted men emphatically use the word with great enthusiasm and fervour,
They proudly say in different occasions,
'We live together, we are close neighbours.'
The words may sound well,
But it has become an irony at present.
It is inappropriate and injustice to use the noble word 'neighbour'in the present social context,
As we have undoubtedly lost our sympathy and fellow feeling to others;
Better it will be to delete the great word from its usage,
Unless we properly know how to evaluate it.
