Neither Do I Like Poem by Ombuge M Moses

Neither Do I Like

By Ombuge Moses

Neither do I like!
Screaming turn music
Worries to village women
New life to create
A woman to birth
The hospital closed
My village to cry
Closed for no water
Water so natural
Expensive a cost
A woman in labor
The women gather
New life to come

A baby is born
A life to bring
Problems to bank
Advise it to stick
The womb is better
Hundred times the earth
Earth in my village
Harsh for life
A life to be born
Generation in make

Loudly it screams
Generation increased
Hygiene soot poor
Myself a boy
A boy malnourished
Too slim to obese
Obese I adore yarn
How fat to be
It’s not my wish
Over slimmed I am
Food is none
Drops to quench
Stagnant is the water
By the roadside to dam
Open defecation routine
Dams too green
Green for dirt
Drink as usual
New life has come
To feed to quench
It’s not my wish
Medicine to herbs
Too bitter to chew
Neither do I like
Music is lost
No longer in my mind
Neither do I like.
