Nelson Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Nelson

The fetid conditions!
Spread to the farm;
Blights, lights, sights, heights, fights, flights, slights, nights!
And like the muse of your love in the hands of Nelson;
But, six decades ago, you lost your contract with him! !
And today, the predecessors are still around us.

Nelson!
Rights, delights, brights, frights, bights, plights, tights;
With another day in the heat! !
And, with the muse of love.
Life!
Cavernous;
Lust!
At a sorrowful crossroad.

Valour, velour!
Cavort,
Volume, velum!
Caveat,
Cask, ask!
And like the muse of your love in the hands of Nelson;
But, we need to know the truth from your secret acts with him.
