Nerves Poem by susette varga

Nerves

There are over
7 trillion nerves
Within my body
You have trodden
On my very last one
Nasty
Vindictive
Ugly within
The way you treat others
Is an immortal sin
Look at yourself
In a reflective mirror
Do you like what you see
Do you recognise him
Does your image coincide
With the man that you see
Probably not
Your skin is too thick
No mirror is able
To show the true thee
Maybe one day
Your mirror will show
The depth of a man
Who has no soul
