Never A Fool Poem by susette varga

Never A Fool

Rating: 5.0

Such complexity
Hidden depths
As deep as the ocean
Magnetic and intense

Mysterious and secretive
Dark yet pure
A curious aura
Engulfing you

Blue eyes stare
Intently within
Bewitchingly seducing
Luring you to him

Emotionally creative
Always a winner
Does not accept failure
Nor answer to others

Master of many guises
Sweet words he uses
To cleverly disguise
Deep rooted and evil
Flaws within

In for the long haul
Here to stay
Cares deeply
Going nowhere
To get his own way

Totally smitten
She truly loves him
Wants nothing more
Than to trust him

Acknowledging love has
No reason nor rhyme
She listens to logic
And to reason

After giving all
Her careful consideration
Followed her hunches
All the way through

Has finally realised
She is no fool
Did he really think
She was so stupid
Not to notice
He was ruled by negative
And selfish motives?

He talked the good talk
Walked the good walk
But his words throughout
Spoke louder than his actions

No matter what she followed her gut
Her powerful intuition found you out
Master of many guises
You are not worthy of me
