Nestling Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Nestling

Nestling

To read books is too hard
-if not in their own tongues
-taken and diverted
-in tones and by titles.

Am busy reading the
"One thousand and one nights"
(By Burton…)

I find it disaster
-he sees thieves,
-in mirror finds himself…

Richard was a spy
-all the times was disguised
-Consul for Britain
-was army officer
-and wished to go to war
-for killing the Afghans…

How could he?
-be true and honest?

Even if was in him, he could not;
-being Europe's blind, he saw not
-stenography or Persian ciphering!

Doubtlessly was smart…
-excellently disguised
-to enter the Mecca
-as a worthy Muslim…

He became torch, candle
-for the T. E. Lawrence
-who drew the borders
-for making large furnace
-from the then Mid-East
-that lasted ever-since...

I need to read the book
-as it is, in way of nestling!
