Never Again Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Never Again

Never Again,
will I ask you to hang out,
Never again,
will I want to talk
to you,
sad but true.
Never again,
do I want to see
your cursed smile
Never again,
it is so vile.
Never again,
will I dream of you,
because in the end,
I always lose
Never again,
it's time to move on,
the future is now,
the past is gone,
Never again
will I write a poem
about you,
this is the last,
I'm being true,
Never will I delete
the old,
because at some point,
they were my spirit, my soul.
Never again,
will I ever let things
be the way they were.
Never Again.

Well written poem, Matthew. Life is a bit liek preschool. We learn while we play. Along the way we play better. Only the wise ones learn how to play well. Cheaters enjoy a short glory but get eventually sidelined
