Never Disappointed Poem by Deci Hernandez

Never Disappointed

Leave it to an idiot and
He'll never disappoint you
Leave him in an only room
And mischief wont allow him
But we well know he'll
Be there soon

i caught one once and i
Tried him too
i tied his hands to mine and
Told him this you will do
He marveled at the chance to
Disappoint one at last
It wasn't instantly but once
He began to resemble independence
i thought myself gay and bid myself
Ado

At the dawn of the next day
i dare say
There was a marvel
The idiot tied his hands
To a liberty statue marble

His independence never lasted
To begin with it never
Was obtained and he lives
All his days cuffed to his
Chains
He still longs for a way
To not be held in disdain

The man has never
Disappointed and he tells us
It's a game
