Never hush My Darling Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Never hush My Darling

Never trust the tongue
When the soul is hurting
Hush
Allow yourself to heal
May you be slow to speak
Yet quick to listen
That's when healing
Sometimes begin
Hush
When the commotion is so loud, it seems to crowd your very being
Only to blind your heart from truly seeing
Change the rhythm of the flow
Peace will come and you will know
So just hush
