Never Ocurred To Me Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

Never Ocurred To Me

Rating: 5.0

Whichever subject I choose to open
He says it is already there in the book he has;
The book of experience, to be specific.
I thought that book must be a huge one,
How come he handles it with ease?
‘I carry it within me, ' he said offhand,
‘Printed on my genes. I have a copy of it,
In each part of me.'
This fact never occurred to me.

Very well played with words and metaphorically portrayed the experience we embed every moment in our genes. Very creative and very imaginative. Thank-you.
