Fall away from me, my love;
Fall away just like the others.
I shall never have anyone;
Never shall I have friends or lovers.
Leave me alone so you won't hurt;
Leave me isolated from your admiration.
I can't be your dearest friend;
I shouldn't be your inspiration.
My existance should have been forbade;
My existance is a cruel mistake.
Whoever comes near, I'm sure to displease;
Whoever comes close, I'm sure to forsake.
The ones I love suffer dearly,
Therefore, the ones I love are very few.
And though I long to love you dear,
I'd die if I ever hurt you.
So, fall away from me, my love;
Fall away just like the others.
I simply can't have anyone..
Never shall I have friends or lovers.

What I find most appealing to me is your poem's depth of raw emotion... the sadness and despair of its reveal... the words surround me like a soft blanket of denial, sheltering me from my own vulnerability... your words make me feel... and that is poetry's justification for its existence... it matters most not what we feel, but how much we feel... and I am filled with the emotion of your pen... Touché to you dear poet.
