Never Thought Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Never Thought

Rating: 5.0

Never thought I'd see fifty
Fifty seemed so old
Now that I've passed sixty
I shiver more when I'm cold

So many things
I wanted to do
Time slipped away
The many became the few

The roads been long
and I travel on
Never thought today's tomorrow
would ever be mine
