Never Thought You'd Learn Poem by Timothy Long

Never Thought You'd Learn

I never thought that you'd learn, clinging to me like a lean, I was dreaming of the past, hoping love would hit me at last, the dreams came true, but to only you, I'm not the right guy, trying to get to you, the other side isn't nice actually feeling like ice, not am to leave be, trying to save what is left of me, sorry alright got to say, thinking of you oh my time away, if it will make you mine, then I'll try, but are you walk away my heart will break, it's my life to decide whether or not to see death as it is told or foreseen, restless in my mind wishing you were mine trading it all for you, the tears still fall unfortunately knowing what you were going to do, but I still love you today as any other day, for that be taking a step towards, I can't forget the past but I need a new future, it's still raining, no one can save me, just to leave me with the pain.
