New Creation Poem by Ima Ryma

New Creation

Just like the Phoenix from the fire,
A new creation I can rise,
Let lessons learned from past inspire,
I am a soul that never dies.
My last creation, I grew old
And spurned the choice to live God's will.
Selfishness turned me hard and cold.
But now God's grace reminds me still
That I can change the way I live
For the better till this life's end,
That it is God's will to forgive
If selfish ways I now do mend.

A new creation now I be.
I can become a better me.
