New Poem

New Poem

I never looked out in the distance
To find an original theme.
I had already looked at life
And I saw it's universality.

The roots of my dreams
Seemed like they belonged
In the realm of my life
And others' too.

There was no need to find a poem.
The world and universe were a million poems.
I dreamt poems, I ate poems and I walked poems too.
Poems were a life so incredible so.

I never found a place
Where dreams were not present.
It amounted to this.
Poems were the power.
