New Rules Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

New Rules

New Rules

Word is out of police
- "Is too tough; "
-when on road, driving!

"Anything…"
-police says: "…from
-those behind wheel
-that takes their attention
-causing distraction…"

I object and contest:
- "Take her out of my way, "
-I say and will insist:
- "She and her beauty, attraction
-make me mad, out of self…"

For second, become me
-open eye to such scene
-when angel is walking
-with her hair floating
-and firm chest glowing
-with her hips steady
-in asking to bogey…

If that is in the sight
-what mean cars and the lights?
-what worth the window signs?

Police must do as did
-parishes, religions;
-Taliban and Isis.

Take women into house
-or put them in covers
-force them walk in the dark
-of alleys and the nights.

They are thieves, burglar
-when exposed and dressed
-with makeup head to toes
-stealing mindful thoughts!
