To the stage he then rises,
And they change their places,
That’s the will of a man which embraces
Chaos of woman’s soul.
His dream suddenly comes true –
He has found a doer
Who will manage to rule up
What has come to his notes.

A tenor and a soprano have just met and are excited to find in each other the ideal partner for TRISTAN UND ISOLDE. They are excited that they can finally excel in performances of it together. The lines that puzzle me are vividly written: THAT'S THE WILL OF A MAN WHICH EMBRACES THE CHAOS OF A WOMAN'S SOUL. Tell me more about this Liza There is something important in this I cannot grasp.
