New sun's light

I got up to witness
New sun's light on face
Even though the sun was rising daily
I felt it different today really

"Good beginning is half done" it is often said
Even though some conditions are laid
Feel cheers with happiness
You will be always in position to face bravely

It is New Year
So I must be prepared to bear
With challenges and go ahead
The year must be well read

What could I not perform last year?
I must lend my ears
Listen to the advice to learned well wishers
"I take an oath and vow to alter scene altogether

Why only rose can smell and not me?
I am also not bonded and look very much free
Free from mind's prison and ready to fly
I shall catch day with spirit and honestly try
