New Year 2022
A four digit number
Has three twos in it
Second place is zero
That's the new year.
Days keep on moving
Ever so slowly to feel
Years seem to go by
At a rapid rate always.
As one keeps reviewing
Unfulfilled resolutions made
A new year arrives in a rush
No need for new list now.
Difficult times for us all
Went into the past steadily
Let us gather fresh enthusiasm
And take a giant step forward.
