News Lady
I can tell by the look in her eyes
that she's only talking to me
she gives me the news every day
I don't care if you disagree
I know what is deep in her heart
though she is quite far away
she wants to keep me informed
of the world of unrest and dismay
she always shows that she cares
with a glance that is never disguised
she is only thinking of me

Some TV presenters hold a very special place in our hearts. Their presence is so reassuring and their speech does leave a deep impact. A stunning beauty indeed.
She's smart and beautiful. Womanhood can't get any better than that. This poem is actually an inside joke from me to a friend. Whenever this woman comes on CNN, I tell my friend she is looking at me. LOL

Thanks Nosheen. She is the daughter of a former governor of Tennessee. The crush is somewhat tongue in cheek but I do think she is gorgeous. I think a lot of old men must develop a crush on their news lady.
