Nicer To Each Other Poem by Francis Duggan

Nicer To Each Other

Rating: 5.0

To each other why cannot be compassionate and kind
Instead of flaws in one another seeking to find
There is more to living than for the me, myself and i
Sadly there are those who believe that kindness and compassion are based on a lie
In a World where so many for this thing known as success compete
True enough you cannot like everyone every day you does meet
Yet this does not give one an excuse to become a member of the verbal lynch mob of the town
On putting those that you do not like verbally down
Some of us in our thinking does seem rather small
Remember a fair go for some is not a fair go for all
There are none of us perfect why otherwise pretend
The one i do not like may be someone else's best friend
That there are none of us perfect none ought to deny
So why not we be nicer to each other i do wonder why?
