Nicholas; Drogue Dure (Hard Drug) - Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Like a bullet to the brain
heroin pumped into my heart
you are fatal.

When I lay motionless at night
with clouds of smoke filling my lungs
I can hear my heart racing
I miss you.

The feel of your skin against my corpse
the familiar sound of your heartbeat
I want to be in your embrace

Your hands on my body, my soul
sends shivers up my spin
like a wave of passion swept upon me
I need you.

In the depths of my heart
only one person has been able to break down the walls,
only one person has remained in my thoughts,
there's only one person, I can say the most painful, derailing words to...
I love you
