Niente Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Niente

At the edge of desert
Horizons limitless
Sun stands in crown
She orders; heated shout.

Reflections rise; steam
Rolling winds, and spins
Distance is a vague thing
Trashed, lost days in bin

Rises dust like Jeanie
As whales swim in the sea
Particles are dolphins
Acrobats they're dancing

Rubbing eyes in no time
All convert; to nothing
Was it sound or dream?
Was it fact, did I see?
