Night Escaped Though The Satyrs Were Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Night Escaped Though The Satyrs Were

Night escaped though
the satyrs were
still in their revels
though
the nymphs were still a-dancing:
for its long nose
smelt
the coming of the Dawn
as was in her cave
just waking.
