Night Of Bliss Poem by Ejalonibu Abraham

Night Of Bliss

How long shall I wait for the night
When love's candle begins to burn?
When crimson colours blaze in light
And flowers bloom within her hand,
Then sorrow shall no longer return.
Night of bliss
Alone beneath her cruel kiss,
Lost within the depths of her eyes
While my weary hand
Rests gently upon her face.
Whenever I imagine that night,
My tears pour down like midnight rain.
My soul is bound in silent longing,
Yet I know the day will come
When I shall be crowned
With the light of the sun and stars.
