Nightmare - Poem by Nate Tulay

The same memory came again to haunt me:
With a smile on her face, she walked up and started a conversation.
On and on, we talked and laughed, about things and life.
And because she was bold and fearless, I stayed and talked.

O darling with a confused mind, and lustful eyes,
I asked her for her number and broke my vows to you.
