Nightmares - The Sequel Poem by Paul Warren

Nightmares - The Sequel

I am lying in bed and it is dark
I slept for an hour but now it's stark
Sleep will not come even though I am tired
The images are there still and I am still wired
So I take another pill and try to relax to sleep
And pray for it to stop but it's such a feat.
