This month must end and soon depart, the next must wait its turn,
Then God grants three more months to start, the Gospel still to learn.
For even now, this very year, some still don't know the Lord,
Despite the fact they seem sincere, God's love remains ignored.
Some go to school, or go to work, while some, of course, stay home,
Some scoff at God, and even smirk, so far from God to roam.
Yet God stays patient, for a while, with Christmas still in mind,
Perhaps it's then that God will smile, if some, salvation find.
The labourers are few indeed the Cross of Christ to share,
Yet faith will help each one succeed, through fasting and through prayer.
To preach to each, that's quite a task, to share God's precious Son,
And yet, at times, we're bound to ask, what's left that could be done?
A word of knowledge or a dream? A vision clear as day?
Prophetic words that seem extreme? What wise words should we say?
I sigh at both the young and old dismissing God above!
The greatest story ever told! Jesus, the King of Love!
