Nirvana Come Poem by Alison Mary Dunn

Nirvana Come

Rating: 5.0

As setting sun
reveals the truth
her light begins to fade
She tells deep down
of what’s to come
when life’s escape is made

I cast a wish
into the night
outside her earthly gaze
Dear friend with you
I rest my soul
beyond this worldly maze

This happening
has forged our love
This night has brought you near
Though as days go by
I know not why
You chose to disappear

Perhaps
you sought Utopia
Once touched
some time ago

Nirvana Come
When I will see
What you already know

Sunset thoughts. Very elegiac and beautiful. Time will have us, but our memories are ours forever. 10/10. Love, Sandra
