No Cupids Allowed
Another corridor of love ended
Blocked by an avalanche of deceit
All hopes buried so deep
Crushed under the weight
Another dead end to backtrack on
More cracks that remain in the heart
Leaking all the time of trust
Slowly turning to granite
Impervious now to cupids’ arrows
Building a cocoon of self denial
Blind to the future
Deaf to the present
Silent about the past
Shackled in no mans land
