No Diet, Just Grow! Poem by Phyllis Strong

No Diet, Just Grow!

If there was a tall pill,
I would surely take it.
If no one can come up with it;
Maybe I should make it.

I only stand five-foot-two
My weight you’ll never know.
But I would take a tall pill;
To help my structure grow.

Five-foot-two, a little plump and round,
This weight doesn’t want to go.
But if I had a tall pill;
No diet, I’ll just grow!

I might be twenty-foot-tall;
Don’t laugh, you’ll be ten.
Every time we gained ten pounds;
We’d pop that pill again.

If I had a tall pill,
I’d stretch my fat out thin.
And when I’d gain ten more pounds;
I’d pop my pill again.

If there was a tall pill;
A lot of people would take it.
Could you imagine people twenty-foot-tall?
That’s why they won’t make it!
