light a match
hold it out
wherever you are
you are watching
the biography
of yourself
bear witness
bear witness silently

This reminded me that I meant to buy this documentary and I loved every moment of watching it. It has the reverence of the true Dylan fan. I really loved this poem but not sure I completely understood the ending. I might suggest a change to:
'bear witness silently and listen closely' or 'bear witness silently but listen closely' - each ending creates a different meaning and a different ambiguity. (Report) Reply
