No Fear - Poem by William Barry

I am not afraid
I tell myself this
These things do not scare me
But still deep in my thoughts there is something I fear
To be alone
Not to be by myself for a time
But to not have a partner
To go through life with no one to share with
To grow old and die with no family to remember me
This I fear
Not shadows war or death
But life with no one

when you find someone that only does good for you. never let them go. friends. lovers. whatever the hell they are. don't push them away or forget them. they need you just as much as you need them. you are not alone. (Report) Reply
