No Going Back Poem by Scarlet .....

It sways just out of reach
above my head
it looks so innocent
so harmless
just a piece of rope
but that rope is in the form of a noose
That very noose
tied oh so loose
just calls to me
wakes me from my sleep
it sways above me
it needs to be tightened
tight around my neck
without thinking
I tie it tight upon my very neck
so tight
I might just end this pain
this very night
that would be oh so nice
my body just wants to fly
slowly be free
and with that
before I can stop
I jump
I fly
I become free
as my body now sways
back and forth
slowly turning numb
life begins to fade
It all turns black
and with that there is no going back
