No Grass Poem by John Carter Brown

No Grass

Rating: 5.0

No grass, no cows, no beef
no protein in the leaf;
no lamb, no pork, no meat
no steak for us to eat.

'So what? ' you say to this
'They're not that much to miss;
I'll get my needs from cheese -
hang on, we're needing these; '

'I think I get the point
there'll be no Sunday joint; '
No grass, no cows, no meat,
no people in the street.
