No Ground Rules Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Ground Rules

No ground rules

For good people
I offered no struggle
Wasted life period
And always avoided good things

Io failed to grasp what was good
Even I heard scuffle in neighborhood
Still people talked about good behavior
And adjusted for

I was no insane
But it caused pain
I thought of leaving such circle
And went to jungle

At least animals were friendly
They spoke no language loudly
Only shook head in recognition
And showed love relation

It was feeling
Quite different from human beings
Where actual behavior was different from what was said
No ground rules were laid
